So I guess I'll be starting to track what I eat & what exercises I do. I got a dvd from netflix, it's one of the Biggest Loser workouts. It's for 30 days & it says you can lose 3 inches off your waist. My ultimate goal is to do P90X when I lose all of my weight, so this is just a small start to work out dvds for me :) I really like them. & Going to classes at the gym but I'd like to lose more weight before I do that. I'm so excited because I have milestone to work towards. I'm taking my younger brother to Disneyland for his 14th birthday. It's at the end of May. I'm going to try to lose as much weight as possible before then. It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to it. At the end of each day I'll post everything I tracked throughout the day. Tracking really helps you to lose weight because it lays everything out in front of you & forces you to write everything you eat down so you can really see how much you put in your body. I recommend it for everyone. I'm going to be taking Hydroxycut because I bought it a little while back & I still have the whole bottle & it's really supposed to work if you use it properly & eat right & exercise. We'll see how it goes for the first few days & see if I like it. Feel free to let me know what you think about anything ladies!
So apparently hotel rooms can tell you whether or not you can have alcohol in your room & how many people you can have in the room at one time. I had a horrible experience last night at the Palms Hotel because of this! I booked a $450 suite with what I thought would have a wrap around balcony as advertised & pictured. When I got in my room I couldn't open any balcony doors. I called the frontdesk to ask why not & she told me they're locked because of a new rule that says they can't have them open unless they want to be liable for whatever might happen, like someone falling. So now I have no huge, beautiful balcony with the great view I thought I was getting & paying for & basically the reason I got the room. It would have been nice to put on their site that none of their balconies that you could previously use are available. They did nothing to fix that problem for me, just offering that I could upgrade to a penthouse where the balconies are allowed to be used & that would run me over $600. I'm not paying that for a balcony. Then, as more of my friends arrived in my room, that caught the attention of security. The frontdesk called & told me they have a strict no party policy & they would be coming up to check the room. I had 5 people in my room at the point when security first arrived. I was technically only allowed to have 4 he was telling me, so I was breaking a rule but he would extend it to 6. Well I had 5 more people on their way. There was going to be around 10 of us. So that was the first problem & then the second was that I had my 14 year old brother, 20, 17 & 19 year old best friends in the room with me with alcohol in the fridge that I bought. I was told I could not have that alcohol I bought in the fridge because there were minors in the room. What the hell? Now you're telling me what I can eat & drink in my room? I had to remove all the alcohol on the spot, security followed us out most of the way while we did this. Yet the alcohol the hotel provided in the mini fridge was allowed to stay. Of course, they need their money right! It was ridiculous. I called the same manager that came with the security that went in my room & told him I wanted out of the hotel immediatly & I wanted a refund. It was a no go. I talked to another manager & she was even worse. I got a bitch manager who offered me nothing as well. I mean jesus not even a comp at the bar or buffet, which is the LEAST amount they could offer! It was pathetic & it ruined everyone's night. I didn't even stay in the room. I went with my boyfriend to his house & my friends went home. Tonight we're having a party at my friends house since we have all this alcohol & cake & decorations & food & we bought new dresses & shoes. So much time & money, so we hope everyone can come tonight instead & we can salvage this. I'm writing a comment on the Palms website about my horrible customer service experience. I don't reccomend anyone staying there. They're very snotty, & strict & uptight.
